Tahoe Truckee Earth Day at Palisades Tahoe

April 26, 2025 — The Tahoe Truckee Earth Day event, a beloved free and family-friendly community tradition, will be held in The Village at Palisades Tahoe. As one of the largest Earth Day events in the region, this educational and community-focused event is a testament to the passion, dedication and hard work from the volunteers from the Tahoe Earth Day Foundation, local nonprofits and organizations, small businesses and community members who come together to engage the public, inspire sustainable values and showcase local eco-friendly vendors.

This event is a chance for the public to learn about the latest innovations in environmentally friendly lifestyle habits, such as recycling, composting, innovative products and alternative energy sources. It will support the Sierra Watershed Education Partnerships (SWEP), and ticket sales and raffles will go directly to SWEP initiatives to connect students to community environmental initiatives and advocacy.

The event schedule also includes a Trashion Show, live music and screenings from the Wild and Scenic Film Festival hosted by Mountain Area Preservation.
