This is the all-time classic off-road triathlon course. Racers begin with a 1,500-meter swim from a sandy beach in Lake Tahoe, one of North America’s purest and deepest lakes. The bike stage tests racers’ skills and fitness levels. It starts with a gradual sandy climb up Tunnel Creek.
