Mountainside Resorts

Nestled into the Sierra Nevada mountains, each Lake Tahoe resort has its own private area along Olympic-worthy slopes. In the summer, you can hike and bike around countless different trails to breathtaking views of Lake Tahoe. Some resorts even offer bike valets and immediate access to the trails, while others offer bikes to use. Some even have their own tree-top adventure course.

In the winter, several resorts offer direct ski-in/ski-out access to the lifts. Many also offer ski and boot valets for your convenience. Each presents its own advantages – whether you’re up for cross country skiing, downhill skiing, or just sledding and snow play, there’s a resort that caters to it.

For all the mountain fun you could ask for, check out larger resorts such as Northstar or Palisades Tahoe. Both offer centrally located Villages with year-round shopping, dining and entertainment.

Lakeside Resorts

Lake Tahoe lakeside resorts have a way of creating their own piece of heaven. You can indulge in panoramic views of our crystal blue waters that will take your breath away. Most have their own private beaches for guests, while some also offer a private marina where guests can rent boats or catamarans.

Some resorts also allow you to purchase a day pass to their piece of the shore.

Spring is that magical time when you can spend part of the day playing in the snow and then hanging by the shore. Fall brings the last bits of summer and just a hint of the winter ahead.
